The craft of building traditional Japanese houses is something that has the power to create awe and fascination.
Inspired by these traditional buildings and techniques and with a desire to preserve them, we launched a staff-led initiative to work for the reactivation of these traditional houses, which not only enables us to pass on these traditional houses to others, but stimulates the local community while reducing the “empty house” problem and adds a new purchasing choice to potential home-buyers. It is our goal to contribute to the local community by expanding our operations going forward.
What is a “Staff-Led Initiative”?
In this business format, the staff member takes the lead and directs everything from planning to the proposal, all the way to project completion. Starting a business from scratch requires a great deal of knowledge. The corporation supports the staff member, while allowing them to complete decision-making autonomy.
